I let mine watch kidtube for a minute. Some of the crap on there isn’t monitored either. Just because they package it up in a “kid friendly” box, doesn’t mean you can automatically trust it. I’ve since limited his interaction with his tablet to controlling his cozmo robot, playing cool math games, and other learning games while his mom or I are present. There’s some sick stuff on the internet, example Momo. Not that I believe the urban legends of the thing, but it plants seeds in young minds that don’t know what to make of it.

This post is an anecdote. it is also colored by your own preconceived notions of how the mods are.
It is nowhere close to an objective analysis of what actually happened.
Are you attempting to derail your own thread?

Micheal Moore thinks 9/11 was perpetrated by the US government?

Not by a lot of people.
Take for instance Mark Dice. How many people who posts his “Stupid Man on the Street interviews” like this one.
Knows that he used to go and harass Mormons in front of their temples calling them Masonic Satanists?

We are talking about hundreds of journalists…not just Alex Jones. Many are young, black and very much in tune with their surroundings and I get to hear their opinions. I find it very refreshing and we should all support this platform for them to speak freely. They should not be unfairly silenced as they are right now.

I get a little kick out of finding rulebreakers. Have been overzealous at times when wrong too.

No… he wasn’t.
Moore never claimed the basis of the Truther philosophy that people other than the terrorists perpetrated 9/11.
Don’t stretch “truther” beyond what it actually means.
I can just tell you how I felt to be unjustly accused by an “objective” moderator on the Hannity forum.
I was not a good feeling.

I think it’ll be great if the SCOTUS rules that websites cannot remove content that violates their TOS. Lord knows I’ve got a lot of ■■■■ to say to some of the posters here and one that ruling comes down it’ll be a spectacular free-for-all here.

He said bush let bin laden’s plane fly after shutting down the airspace. He didn’t go into the conspiracy like some nuts, but he certainly left some nuggets of half truths to come to the conclusion that the war was a sham that he perpetrated for his daddy.

Here is a current example of the type of journalists being shut down. This gentleman goes by the Black Conservative Patriot. He isn’t vulgar in any way, shape or form. He’s political and attempts to connect the daily drips of information coming out and does a pretty good job of it IMO. He also has 326,000 followers to his videos. There’s a lot more to this my friend than…Mark Dice and his selling of t-shirts.

That isn’t what’s being discussed here. It’s the double standard that’s the problem.
You claim that “free speech” is being violated but keep using examples of people who are not banned from youtube. Do you have some examples of people who were banned that you disagree with?

Their way of being financially supported is. They were demonitized in the hopes of driving them off of the internet. They are competing with those that bitched the loudest.
Ohhhhhh… So it’s not a free speech issue, it’s they should be allowed to generate revenue off a free platform… LMAO…

Whether you think they are being unfairly silenced or not is irrelevant. Once again, read the text of the 1st Amendment and point out to us the portion of which that prevents private entities from regulating what type of speech they wish to host.
To put it another way, if I were a Muslim imam, does the 1st Amendment grant me the right to walk into a Catholic Church in the middle of Mass and start preaching a sermon on Muhammad with no permission needed from the priests over that congregation? Does the owner of the local gay strip-club get to paste flyers up on the bulletin board of a Baptist Church, and the church has to leave them up? Does Planned Parenthood have the right to force Hobby Lobby to display and distribute pamphlets about abortion?

Then what is? You’re whining that your favorite conspiracy theorists, white nationalists, and general ■■■■■■■■ artists are being “silenced” by the media. And you want SCOTUS to weigh in. In the end if you get your way YouTube and Twitter and basically any other social media platform will be unable to exercise their TOS. Yes, I get that you want the government to levy another Fairness Doctrine. Which is hysterical coming from a so-called “Conservative”. Ramp up the government intrusion.

I didn’t say anything about Ben Shapiro. Neither do I consider him to be alt-right, he’s usually a target of the alt-right crowd because he’s Jewish.
Personal question, but you said you didn’t think your politics had really changed in recent years. Do you think if you asked friends and family that they’d agree with that?
