But did he really lie, or did he simply change his mind?
It doesn’t matter. They don’t actually care because literally Donald Trump.
This is just a gotcha moment that they can use to justify this bizarre “Joe Biden lies more than any other President” nonsense they throw out to deflect the reality that is the morally bankrupt republican party.
It’s the type of ■■■■ they’d put on a bumper sticker if a Republican did it.

It’s all about context.
Throughout Trump’s first term, he made all kinds of outrageous claims. With each new claim, DEMs would froth at the mouth and create a new thread saying Trump is lying again. I consistently responded with terms like “Trump is being Trump”. “Trump is engaging in hyperbole”. He loves pulling the DEMs chain, knowing that his gross exaggeration will keep him in the headlines, as DEMs become unhinged with his every utterance.
If you recall, I pleaded with DEMs not to stop with their attacks.
In that respect you might be correct. I don’t recall ever defending Trump’s actions by saying DEMs do it. They actually don’t do it. Nobody but Trump can be Trump.
However, within the context of this thread, there seems to be a focus on Biden’s saying he wouldn’t pardon Hunter and then later issuing a pardon.
Within that context, yes, all politicians lie. And not just every politician but every human being. We all lie. Looking at the Biden pardon, how could we possibly know what he was thinking when he said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter. Was he intentionally deceiving everyone, knowing he would pardon him? Or did he simply change his mind?
Who really cares? I certainly don’t.

Everyone lies. That’s a part of being human.
For about two years, numerous high ranking Democrats in a position to know the truth said that Biden was perfectly mentally fit, and defended him against observations by Hur (while celebrating not bringing charges).
For several years Mayorkas and the Biden administration told us that the southern border was secure and not to believe our eyes.
The Washington Post, within a month of Biden resigning, told us that images of Biden acting odd were “deep fakes”.
And you are literally in a thread where Biden lied multiple times about pardoning his sons.
All of the minor lies of Trump about crowd size etc. added together do not compare to one of the monstrous lies by Democrats.
Or are you still waiting for Trump to be a “dictator on day one”?
