Yeah. They are not mutually exclusive. Caring about lies if Trump is lying and poo pooing lies as unimportant if Biden is President is both hypocritical and partisan.

But doesn’t that assume that the bar was much higher at some point in the past? If you look at the history of our country, you will see that politicians have always been liars. Nothing has really changed in that regard.

It’s only hypocrisy if one doesn’t believe in the party line but blindly follows it anyway. If one actually believes the party line, then there is no hypocrisy.
Sure we do, he was thinking about the election and how admitting he wasn’t gonna let his baby boy take the fall would be viewed.
You might be too focused on Biden. I’m talking about the history of politics. Biden is but a blip in that history.
