Yeah- it was a horrible, expensive restaurant, so if people liked it, they might not be stupid, but they are certainly not discerning diners.
Reviews like this one do the reader a favor. They prevent unsuspecting tourists (no self- respecting New Yorker would even consider it) from wasting a bundle on awful food and service, when there is awesome food and service a few feet away.
