It’s a challenge. Knock and run is not a challenge, it’s a prank. Kicking the front door of an armed citizen is a true challenge. But it’s a dumb challenge. All risk, no reward. It’s like saying bloody Mary in front of a mirror 3 times. The best case scenario is nothing happens. Which is the same as if you did nothing. Why do it in the first place? Any challenge that is all risk is a stupid challenge.
I want to hear all this when it’s your door getting kicked in by a kid, and you can’t even file a claim on your homeowners since the deductible covers it.
Rare instances, i suspect if someone is kicking on your door and you response is immediate response is to shoot, you would have a difficult time claiming self defense because you were in feaf of your life, now if the door started to splinter and cave in that I would say is different.
I worked a college summer job (in the 70s) at an air systems plant. (They did all sorts of metal work for vents and such.)
The shop steward kept getting his mailbox run over by hit-and-run kids. So he had some of the guys make a mailbox out of quarter-inch steel, welded to a steel 4-inch pipe. He installed the pipe filled with concrete.
Within a week, a kid totaled his car on the new mailbox.
Honest question - so a delivery driver could come to my door, kick the door several times as a way to let me know a package is there and I could shoot him through the door and claim i feared for my life and walk away free and clear?
Whats to stop me from just killing anyone at my front door and saying i feared for my life?
I thought the castle doctrine states tbe person must have forcibly entered your home or be in the process of entering your home forcibly. Does kicking it rise to that defintion ? I have no idea
Seven children have been officially charged for the viral November attack of a young mother and her son in Chicago.
According to NBC Chicago, three 10-year-old boys, a 10-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy, and a 13-year-old girl were each charged with one or more misdemeanor counts of battery causing bodily harm. Each child was referred for counseling services and then released from custody.
So when you were between the ages of 10-13 years old did you ever assault a mother and her child?
A lot of this extreme stuff is minority-on-minority thuggery by fatherless kids. Libs will do all they can to downplay the societal and cultural foundation of the problem with our young generation. This isn’t going to improve any time soon.
