It’s illegal in written law.
How it’s practiced, with medical personnel encouraging abortion for every mother from the impoverished to those potentially with handicaps—there have been and continue to be mothers who abort babies they’ve been told are handicapped, only to have a post abortion biopsy reveal they were normal—is an entirely different matter.
I’m not giving these individuals yhe honor of doctor or nurse titles as their conduct is dishonorable, so I’ll just call them medical personnel and say medical personnel get back “abnormal “ results on some of these genetics testing & don’t even pursue further testing to validate or invalidate those results, just encourage abortion.
As in the above link there are medical students strong armed into assisting in abortion. As stated previously coercing abortion is illegal but most providers don’t adhere to the legal standard.
