Thank you for appreciating my humor.

Doesn’t a C-section cost over $30,000? So if the woman has to go that route then they would definitely save money.

Hello, Eagle-Keeper.

The pill. External condom. Internal condom. IUD. Sponge. Patch. Shot. Diaphragm. Cervical Ring. Implant. Spermicide. Withdrawal. A combination of birth control methods. Fertility trackers for smart phones (men, you may want to use this as well). The 24 hour pill.

Today there is ZERO excuse for an unwanted or unplanned pregnancy. Roe vs. Wade and abortion is absolutely obsolete in todays day and age (unless in the rare actual event it is to save the life of the mother).

With the exception of the pill, I do not believe these other options existed when SCOTUS created the evil and outdated abortion laws.

Women pay Planned Parenthood hundreds to thousands of dollars to rip their own child from their womb.

Planned Parenthood then turns around and makes multi-millions more by illegally trafficking the bodies and body parts of that woman’s child like they are nothing more than scraps found on a butchers floor - something to be fed to dogs.

Planned Parenthood is also given over $500 million of tax payer dollars that is then funneled back to politicians on all levels of government … I would call that a kickback. Like insider trading - only worse.

Planned Parenthood are farmers. The women are the fields. The crops are the babies. The abortion is the harvest.

In my opinion, this needs to be pointed out far and wide.

Don’t you just love the never ending demands of libs on this issue?

They demand abortion at the early stages to avoid overpopulation first. Then it’s to save the lives of mothers, and rape and incest victims, then you’ve just got to allow it in the second trimester in case the baby has the nerve to have imperfections like neural tube defects and Downs Syndrome, then you have to “keep it safe and keep it legal” and do everything from allow the baby to die without care to outright kill it in those “rare instances”…

Next you have to practically throw birth control at these flaming idiots who are too damned stupid by lib reasoning to access it themselves (apparently you must be a MENSA candidate to use the Family Planning aisle in a drug store), and force ALL insurers to provide it FREE FREE FREE, but even then, “things happen” :sob: and you just have to let women be “free to choose” :sob:

I’m sick of idiot women whining in a piteous tone of voice about how they’re “single mothers”, gee! Are you divorced? Widowed? Unwed & chose to keep the oopsie or got an anonymous donor?

The way they whine about being single mothers you’d think they were the Virgin Mary, Jr. And I’m sick of so called feminist liberals who see women as too dumb to practice and too poor to afford even a box of Trojans, then keep making more and more demands like spoiled children.

I’m sick of the whole sorry lot of them, & I’ve noticed not too many, if any, pro “choice” on this board are women. To the O P question, the only times abortion should be an option are

potential death of mothers, for example, in tubal pregnancies, and

the slight chance a pre born infant has a defect that just can’t be survived.

All others are more likely to result from sperm donor and “physician” coercion. That is all.

Welcome aboard by the way.

There is plenty of access to birth control. Apparently, we need laws to restrict because folks are just too damn lazy to be responsible.

They have to pay maternity leave?

What state?

Even the Family Medical Leave Act, as signed by William Jefferson Clinton—didn’t require paid leave, only forbid employees being terminated for birthing or adoption of children or qualifying medical conditions.

It allowed IIRC up to three months of unpaid medical leave for those events. You referring to the laws of some states, like Rhode Island & Massachusetts?

I suspect even here employees are paid strictly base pay. Any second & third shift employees receiving shift diff probably won’t get it on leave.

The state Paid Family Medical Leave Act here was poorly thought out, partially because it has no length of service requirement, unlike FMLA signed by Bill Clinton—you know things have gone badly when some of us are starting to miss him—which requires at least one year of service before employees can take advantage. And many jobs just can’t be easily learned by a temporary. It really was a mistake, IMO.

Ok but even if they aren’t paying for leave they probably save money by paying for an abortion over a birth, not to mention lost productivity, parents miss more work.

He’s right to be brutally honest.

I don’t blame him for phasing it like that.

Not all women can use the pill.

That’s still not an excuse to not practice any method of bc, or save oneself for marriage.

From the link:

NBC’s TODAY show website honored Father’s Day weekend this year with story about how abortion helped eight different dads “become the fathers they are today.”

Ever heard of birth control? Their making this out to be the end of the world.

people are stupid. men have sex without birth control. women have sex without birth control. you cant legislate stupid.

in a perfect world you would be correct. everyone having intercourse that could result in a pregnancy would have birth control, we dont live in a perfect world.

I know what she is trying to do. I don’t think it came out the way she intended…

What is she trying to do?

She was forced to have an abortion according to her. Serms like there are possible criminal charges for that.

She’s trying to show the medical profession is racist.

Ah that makes sense

Not really.

It’s naive to believe abortion isn’t forced isn’t coerced or forced:

Those who call themselves pro “choice” are only in favor of their own choices. They see not only poor black women on a lower level, but mothers carrying infants with genetic defects, including, but not limited to, Downs Syndrome.

So abortion against her will is not illegal?
