My analysis is generally focused using my state of NJ as my “control group” so to speak. So for those from other states feel free to provide an assessment using your state as a guide to your perspective. NJ has a nearly 60% full vaccination rate so far this year compared to a 0% vaccination rate to the same time last year. I believe that the number is over 60% for those who have had at least one shot.
Compared to last year the NJ COVID numbers were trending down at a better rate up until mid/late this month. NJ is now at a weekly average comparable to October of last year. Clearly something has caused this change in the trend? Clearly proving what it is is not something easy to do but logic would dictate if a country has an open border than can definitely be a reason NJ is seeing this change.

Is part of your control analysis that Delta is more contagious ñ?

What percentage of the unvaccinated is comprised of migrants?

Without full disclosure on where every migrant transfer went and what test results were then the taxpayers have every reason to believe this is a primary driver.

I have heard of a good way of protecting yourself from the virus from these infected illegals.

Nearly 60% of NJ has been fully vaccinated and over 65% has had at least one dose.

Well some taxpayers, especially those who like to pin the scandal on the Biden. Not that it can’t be a factor. But Primary. mhmm right…
Those are really good numbers.
Imagine if we had Missouri, Florida, Texas, or Louisiana numbers.
We’d be up ■■■■■ creek without a paddle.

Morris county sitting at 63% fully vaccinated people. Really good.

I’ve simply proposed a scientific hypothesis based on comparative data. The impact of the Delta variant (possibly the Delta variant is more prevalent with those crossing the border) can be part of my hypothesis or it can be an alternative hypothesis.
Obersavstion - Texas is one of the states with the higher new case counts.
Hypothesis - Potentially that has to do with tens of thousands of migrants flooding into the state every month?

Well perhaps if it was just Texas- but its literally mostly hitting red states the hardest and blue states much less hard. This would lead to the main hypothesis that states where people are least vaccinated are experiencing the worst effects of Delta. The top cases are happening in Louisiana, Arkansas, Florida and Missouri.

Or Texans are vaccinated enough….regardless of immigration.
Okay taking that theory, how does the increase in Florida?

I am very much in the camp that agrees with this hypothesis. I’m not concerned about whether it’s a red-state/blue-state question. Here in blue-state Colorado, Delta is hitting the unvaccinated just as hard as it is in Florida. The virus is a colorblind opportunist.
And the crowded conditions in immigration detention centers provide profound opportunity. And it’s compounded by the flood of unvaccinated arrivals. Shipping these people to other parts of the country seems reckless.
I noticed earlier in the thread that a rathole formed over whether or not it’s a PRIMARY cause of the rise in COVID cases. What a silly point to fight over! Primary? Major? Significant? What’s the difference?!?! It’s a vector that shouldn’t be happening at all!

Do you know where all the migrants are going and/or being sent?
PS - I didn’t claim to look at specific numbers in every state, just NJ a BLUE state with one of the better vaccination rates. And as far as I can tell I have not seen a better hypothesis for NJ based on what I explained in the OP.
Can you falsify my hypothesis?
