How many people actually receive incomes of 1 billion per year or higher?

So, Bernie wants to implement a 100% tax on incomes of 1 billion dollars/year and higher:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/10-insights-on-bernie-sanders-100-tax-proposal-on-incomes-above-1-billion/ss-AA1vqfci?ocid=msedgntp&pc=LCTS&cvid=ccc62437a7634d1fa0a91172cf1002d2&ei=57

But isn’t it the case that the billionaires he’s talking about are not necessarily receiving that kind of money in income every year but reflects the net worth of their ownership of their company?

META is worth 1.6 trillion; Zuckerberg is worth 212 billion

I don’t believe people like that pull a salary every year do they?

What I would love to see people like Bernie, AOC, etc., whom are exceptionally brilliant is to create their own companies to compete against the likes of META, Tesla, Microsoft, etc., and reduce the net worth of those companies and CEO’s.

The actual answer is for our federal government to stop their wasteful spending…not to transfer their idiocy to those highly producing in the world of capitalism. Look in the mirror Bernie and stop pointing your fingers at others. You and your cronies are the problem.

First thing is that the vast majority of billionaires don’t even have an income in the first place. They are billionaires primarily because of their stock holdings and real estate options. So any tax on income would do nothing.

There’s actually not that numerically many billionaires to levy such a tax against second. Let’s assume there’s probably a hundred or so billionaires in the country. 100 billion dollars in a year wouldn’t even cover 1/8th of the defense budget.

So what’s the point?

One of the traits of today’s libs is to be obsessed with the wealth and property of others. If you can make one group envious of others then you can generate hate and division and inspire more or new voters.

I think we should tax Bernie’s money at 100 percent.

Here’s something Bernie and all these other phony lib elites don’t want to talk about, their own substantial wealth and wherevthey rank:

Their net worth puts them all in the top 1-2%!

Libs would feel justified.

This isn’t about personal spending wealth. There are only so many castles you can build. It’s about taking Capital out of the economy and making sure the real economic power remains in the hands of the government, not individuals.
Build or modernize a steel factory hiring thousands, or provide benefits for migrants.

receive income or earn income?

From the link:

Sanders wrote, “Any income exceeding $1 billion should be fully taxed,”

Between those two turds their combined intellect couldn’t compete with a sand flea.

I think it’d be better if there were more billionaires in the US not less. Why discourage people from becoming billionaires?
