I wish American would learn what socialism was.
The only people who call Europe socialist are American
What was it?
I did find this odd in same article linked above.
Imagine Democratic candidates in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida or Wisconsin, who are trying to defeat Mitch McConnell and running against other Trump candidates having to defend a Democratic Party led by Bernie Sanders. This could produce a Senate wipe-out and the potential loss of the House majority.
Even if Sanders were elected, his presidency would be a failure if Democrats lose their majority in the House, do not win the Senate and Mitch McConnell returns as Majority Leader. Whatâs more, he had a thin reputation for working across the aisle and negotiating compromise to pass legislation. The âpurityâ that seems to attract his supporters argues against his effectiveness in accomplishing anything he promises.
With that reality, whatâs the point of a Sanders nomination?
Even with Bernie at the helmâŚthey hatred towards conservatives still overwhelms them. They fear more Bernie working with republicans then his presidency.
Canât make this â â â â up.
It seems some Trump supporters love political fanfic.
They seem ready scared of an old Jewish man
What do you even get that conclusion?
Good Lord.
What I get from it? Whatâs the use voting for Bernie since he will have to work with republicans.
Whatâs so wrong about that?
How does that translates to âhatredâ?
Your emotions are kind of out of control here.
To read that linked article and your reaction to itâŚis telling.
As long as Congress isnât 2/3rds Republican, he can just go around them by declaring national emergencies. The military has plenty of extra money for pet projects.
If Sanders pulls off a miracle and actually wins consâ heads will explode at the mere mention of âEO.â
Eh? Thatâs not the least bit true almost every country in Europe has a socialist party in one form or the other. I am not saying they have been winning I said the opposite that the countries over the decades have become more capitalist.
I know what socialism is and isnât, the problem is people are associating some type of purity test with with it. So if a party is pushing 80% socialist agendas one can say âThey arenât a pure socialist partyâ. Sanders is close enough for me and has said he is a socialist for the longest time. He doesnât mind the word, describes himself throughout his career as a socialist and doesnât ask for anyoneâs help to tell him what he is and isnât.
