As would I.

No, in the law as well, if you don’t meet your obligations as a citizen the state will be happy to remind you of those obligations with some prison time.

Not in this case. The law is clear, it is right and there is no contradiction.

But you will still be a citizen.

Thus why I mentioned the only way to truly end BRC for those born to people not in the country legally is an amendment. But it would seem some people understand such amendment would never pass in today’s political climate and probably not anytime in the next century or two. Clearly it hasn’t in the past century and a half.

I doubt there will ever be another amendment of substance passed in this country.

We are in agreement.

Frankly this whole BRC issue is really just political red meat thats dangled out there for the dogs to sniff.

It’s this gem that I was pointing out.

I’ll settle for a non-permanent solution. Just like we do with practically every other issue. That a future congress could undo it is no reason not to do it.

Which once again doesn’t address the problem. If you don’t want to deal with them, keep them out. Once they’re in, they’re in.

I have to deal with them.

I’m not debating birthright citizenship, I’m simply asking whether the US has ever compelled anyone here illegally to serve in any of our past wars in which there was a draft. This is simply a consideration to the extent the US has exercised it’s jurisdiction on those here illegally.

And you don’t let pregnant women in.

He says federal laws superseded state and local laws…but yet makes excuses how sanctuary cities aren’t violating the federal laws.

But they remain a criminal and by deal with you mean eject.

I don’t know, probably, but it’s not much of a test. Has anybody here illegally ever been arrested?

Precisely.
