I agree. With the caveat that to claim it, one must actually have it to at least some degree.

So what. About 80% of Americans are of European heritage, have you ever heard someone identify themselves as being a European American?

Of course. No argument there. I am not talking about Racheal Donzal or whatever her name is. :joy:

Neither am I. Kamala Harris did not grow up in Mississippi.

No, she chooses to be black. As has been noted, she is more Indian than black. Why doesn’t she identify with her mother’s people (who, by the way, she physically resembles more than her father) rather than her father’s race? Could it be because of political advantage?

Who cares… is the choice hers or yours?

A terrible situation both at home and abroad created during a Republican administration.

So we needed a black President?

It’s not cons who are defining who is black, it is the individuals themselves. Cons are merely pointing out the hypocrisy and pandering from candidates who call themselves black and assume all of the legitimate grievances that blacks experienced in the past, just for political advantage. Harris, specifically, led a privileged childhood and experienced none of the discrimination of the people who she is pretending to identify with. Most certainly, riding a bus to the school in her district … just like the little white kids seated next to her … hardly makes her Rosa Parks or Ruby Bridges.

I agree. And if more people of mixed race followed his example, we would have far less racial division and strife in this country.

Apparently many liberals care. They are lauding her for her racial grandstanding.

I’m not answering this…if you cant figure it out then that’s your problem

Kamala Harris doesn’t get to claim Jim Crow or segregation and Idiot Matthews doesn’t get to claim it on her behalf.

And that’s what the thread is about.

Just like Warren doesn’t get to claim the trail of tears.

We needed a Democratic President who would take us in a new direction.

I realize Obama scares a lot of Republicans. He is an intelligent, well spoken, thoughtful man. Most Republicans prefer their leaders to have ages higher than their IQs.

Cowboy up.
Git er dun.
Grab em by the *****.

But yeah…the majority of the country had enough of that, at least for awhile. It’s ok though. It didn’t take long to get another low IQ liar in the White House thanks to conservative America.

And what did it get us?

“Another day older and deeper in debt … “

It got us 8 years of conservative America being brainwashed and giving us Donald Trump.

The lost decade…

Another Obama policy that Trump is continuing.
