That’s not a trend, that’s a normal variation within statistical bounds. By your thinking, we are currently trending towards total darkness.

Yes though cleaner than it was. But still filthy. I love every urine soaked inch of it.

Index Crime Statistics: November 2022

Oh look! Murder up a whopping 20%!

Must be making up for lost time.

Why? Are you saying that puts NYC into a low-crime category?

And way up from the frequently touted low in 2019. Or have you completely forgotten about that?

"Cleaner than it was … "

Which is the case across the country… not unique to NYC

There are levels lol.

So my best friend always had a joke that New York is like one of those home projects that you start when you move in and don’t really finish when you die. It just keeps going! I always thought that was great. :joy:

I’m going to NYC in a few weeks. Will be my 3rd visit. I’d never move there but I love visiting

But the thread title makes this about New York.

How does it go? “Hold on, don’t leave town. I’ll have the outhouse pumped out and you can live in the basement.” :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s an amazing place to live.

Understand that it’s not for wimps. Only a real
man or woman can make it there.

And now career criminals who are protected by NYC’s soft-on-crime policies.

So much fear. Although you would be welcomed, I recommend you stay away.

Your loss.

weekly murder were down to 2 last week (down from 8 the previous year)

No fear on my end. I grew up in east Harlem and the South Bronx and hug with some very, very bad dudes. Aside from that, NYC has been turned into a crime, rat, and garbage infested ■■■■ hole city in the past couple of years under a NYC Democrat Leadership.

Here is the latest on NYC’s soft-on-crime crap;

A day later, Karim Azizi, the bat attacker, is released on $75 hundred dollars bail

Like I said, NYC is a ■■■■ hole city.

I don’t understand the hate you have for NYC.

I originally lived in the South Bronx, then briefly in Spanish Harlem and lived in Sunset Park Brooklyn through my 20s.

All I know is, for all its faults, NYC is a great place to live, work and visit.
