He was the ONLY mayor.

So you are back to the shell game again?

:upside_down_face:that’s funny. I meant in comparison to mayors that preceded him. And even mayors after him in years after 2001

It’s a shame that he drank himself into his current state

When i have to battle ludicrously imagined arguments, I’ll use whatever tactic is necessary. Crime is down over the past 20 years and there is no conspiracy behind it.

Btw if there was the ny post would be on it like white on rice.

The title of the thread is . . . . . . .

How bad are things getting in New York?

And, the irrefutable fact is, in NYC, it is getting to be a crime, rat, and garbage infested ■■■■ hole. HERE IS SOME OF THE EVIDENCE

JWK

Dems hide crime. They redefine crime. They present false comparisons.

Well libs we’re right about them. The concentration on crime reporting dropped like a rock after the election

Right thats what i mean so if the numbers were fake!!! They would have covered it. You’re imagining things and calling it deep thought

It’s been like that since before you left. It got better for a while got worse now.

What gonna happen when it gets better which it’s slowly starting to… there will be rats still and garbage on sidewalks on garbage pick up day…

Funny thing. I hope NYC continues to coddle the criminals. If they start coming down hard, the thugs may decide to try their luck on the folks in upstate places like Tioga and Broome counties. And that’s where I live.

So hold those murderers and thugs close to your heart, Cheburashka.

Gentrification caused by lower crime in part btw is already sending people to orange and rock land counties and even as far as Albany…. Sooooooo hang on to your hat.

By George you 've finally got it! We are talking about the here and now!

And, the fact is, NYC is being turned into a crime, rat, and garbage infested ■■■■ hole under it current Democrat Leadership.

Some types of crime DOWN, etc. . . .

The statistics are presented as though they indicate criminal behavior. But they don’t. I’ve posted some of the differences. … such as the redefining of what a crime is.

But here’s another. When improvements are made in treating gunshot wounds from the moment the victim gets shot to the treatment in the hospital, some behaviors that were called murders in 2000, are no longer murders. So the “murder” rate goes down but not the number of events that caused murders in 2000. The treatment of gunshot wounds has simply improved.

Attempted murder is a top seven crime.

Also blaming healthcare improvement to a drop in crime rate is one of the best things i have read in a while.

That’s just perfect

If you cant determine the who/what/why of a shooting, you can’t call it murder.

Yeah you call it murder.

Manslaughter/homicide etc are charges after the investigation.

great information.

shootings in NYC are also down

Allan

number of reported crimes are down for the third consecutive week.

Allan

Why report a crime when the victim knows the criminal will not be jailed?

The new soft-on-crime crap is certainly working to give the illusion crimes are down for the third consecutive week.
