Correct but it’s based upon decades of observation and many examples that have crossed my path.

And I pointed out yours. (Your indignant denial notwithstanding.)

It’s telling that you claim the authority to declare someone else’s post whining, but you think yours cannot be seen as such.

Once again, typical libbery.

I have no interest in this movie as well. Because I’m not really a rom com fan.

This is a good, objective review.

Movies are expensive. Nowadays, unless it’s a superhero flick, you do need stars or a promise of good action to make people shell out money to see a movie in theaters.

And the $30 M was obviously wasted on me. I didn’t even know about Bros until it became “controversial”.

I’m a big supporter of LGBTQ. But I’m not going to virtue signal by going to a movie just because it has an LGBTQ cast.

Marketers indeed should have sold the comedy, not the “history”.

Did I even imply that?

I do not know the OP, and I am not sure of his opinions on LGBT.

So with that limited info, I do not think he is.

Eh. Hollywood wants to make money more than anything.

Then they should pay attention to “Top Gun Maverick” if that’s their intent? The evidence regarding this movie suggests and I totally agree with…that it’s a pathway to bankruptcy. Keep up the good work.

Are they two homosexuals?

Making people feel like they are abnormal will make them sad.

Yes. They are.

That sadness you speak of, is caused by people thinking it is a “bad” abnormal thing. It is not.

Being left handed is abnormal…totally acceptable.
Being red headed is abnormal, totally acceptable.

AKA Truth

Yes, good advice for movies, books, and pretty much everything else.

I’m not sure what they need to catch on to. This movie didn’t bomb because it’s about gay people. Like I said, Eichner’s comments are idiotic and nothing but sour grapes. Plenty of other movies and shows with gay themes have done well.

Promoting homosexuality as normal is even worse and will lead to much more sadness in the long run. There’s a line in between that is the right path IMO.

There you go.

And IMO, your opinion is wrong.

That’s’ your opinion, and you’re in the minority.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood…

Yeah that’s my take on Hollywood too. They can kiss my grits!

I rarely even go to a movie any more. Have gone to 3 over the last 3 years or so.

The movies (mostly) aren’t good and i don’t care for Hollywood beliefs and “values”.

It is just an opinion.
Take it however you want. I really do not care.
