Very strange. You found the word Trump in my title? Were you reading between the lines? Maybe suffering from late stage TDS?

If you are confused about what this thread is about, you should ask me to explain it to you. And I will.

Do you want to take a crack at the subject now?

Hint: It has nothing to do with Trump. Trump voters or anything Trump. This is your people acting bat ■■■■ crazy all on their own with no help from Trump.

Untrue. How do you think banning words begin?

And… Do you think this rule is idiotic and Pelosi should be ridiculed for it?

Since this is a discussion forum and not a reading list, I thought you’d want to discuss the article you posted.

Good idea. Do you agree with this craziness? Or is this more democratic idiocy? Do you take issue with any of the words that Nancy does?

Duh. Libs don’t get outraged by other libs. We totally get that. No need to splain.

How can you discuss the article effectively if you refuse to read it?

How is this evidence they lost their minds? Its just changing the language used in the rules to be gender neutral. I don’t think “banning” is even the appropriate term here. I see nothing that says these words can’t be said or that they can’t be put back in the rules at a future time.

You’re fine as long as you don’t say it three times in a row.

We’re giving Adam his rib back and he’s going to take it whether he likes it or not.

Maybe because they get their feelings hurt by words such as husband and wife? This doesn’t happen to normal people.

Did anyone say anything about hurt feelings? Are hurt feelings a prerequisite for changes towards inclusivity? Are all nice actions required to be a response to a bad action?

This cat is already out of the bag, by changing the rules to gender-neutral terms you get ahead of someone of the what, 62nd gender violating the rules of conduct of the House and then saying it’s ok because their gender identity isn’t specifically mentioned or inferred.

Changing the language to be gender neutral is losing their minds.

Inclusivity is all about “feelings”.

Why and how?

Because it’s stupid, unnecessary, and not worth spending a nickel of taxpayers money on.

So you’re saying if I start referring to my wife,as my spouse she will start feeling better about herself?

WildRose, its okay to feel.

There you go.

What does that have to do with people losing their minds? If needless spending is the bar to meet, then all politicians are insane regardless of ideology.
