Former CIA Director and anti-Trump crusader John Brennan defended Rep. Adam Schiff’s position as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee Thursday evening; saying all elected officials must be held “to the highest ethical and moral standards.”
“It doesn’t matter if you are a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent, or an American of any or of no political affiliation,” posted Brennan on social media while sharing a video of Schiff’s address. “We all should hold our elected officials and those who hold the public’s trust to the highest ethical and moral standards, most especially Presidents.”

Brennan’s comments come days after the special counsel unveiled his final report after two-years of non-stop investigations; confirming there was “no collusion” between the Trump campaign and senior Russian officials.
