Socialist superstar Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her demands for a “living wage” Tuesday, vowing to fight for a drastic increase to the minimum wage and “healthcare for all” living within the United States.
First of all this person is not a superstar under any circumstance. If people want s living wage all they have to do is GET A JOB. There are more jobs available than there are people to fill them.
She wants people to be able to own a home drive a new car and feed a family of 8 when they don’t know how to tie their shoes. How is that going to benefit anyone?
Never underestimate the power of a charismatic individual. She is just that. As a result she is getting more people to listen to her than say, Bernie Sanders, someone that looks like he just came out of his attic after 30 years of trying to turn lead into gold. So I would consider her a heavy hitter.
But my big question is, what makes people think they deserve a living wage no matter what they do?
