An MSNBC reporter busted his network’s ‘migrant caravan’ narrative on live television this week; telling anchors the majority of immigrants at the border were ‘young men’ apparently not interested in seeking asylum.
The correspondent was covering the escalating crisis along the US-Mexico border where thousands of Central American migrants are waiting to enter the United States.
“From what we’ve seen, the majority are actually men, and some of these men have not articulated that need for asylum,” said the reporter. “Instead, they have talked about going to the United States for a better life and to find work.”
