MSNBC host Kasie Hunt pressed Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen on his party’s total lack of clarity surrounding the nation’s escalating immigration crisis Monday, saying liberal legislators are “not very clear” when it comes to border security.
Van Hollen was speaking with Hunt earlier Monday when he was asked whether he supports his Democratic colleagues’ call for the total abolishment of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
“Look, Democrats have been very clear… We’re for border security,” said the liberal Senator.
“I think many Americans probably look at ‘abolish ICE’ and say it’s not very clear,” fired back MSNBC’s Hunt.
