Pretty sure it’s tanning beds since his eyes remain pretty white. Normal when one wears the UV blockers in a tanning bed set on broil.

My girlfriend, she’s a theater tech, she said it’s either theatrical makeup or self-tanning lotion but either way applied by hand.
