Why don’t you ask the guys who actually were deployed to combat over there what they think of Pete’s “volunteer” service?

Hint, several have already told you what they think.

If you think about it, yes you did.

Glad you’re finally catching on. :grinning:

His service is fine. I respect that. What I don’t respect is all of the heroic look at me crap. 199 trips outside the wire, locked and loaded. Real heroes don’t act like that. Neither should non heroes.

It’s just the same disingenuous crap they’ve been plastering us with for years.

Nobody denigrated him for serving.

We rightly called him out for being a pretender/poser.

He doesn’t even know enough to be a decent pretender.

Putting on a freshly laundered Uniform and Shades, and posting with a borrowed M4 doesn’t make you a warrior.

Posing with guns is literally the NRA :joy:

That you can’t understand or admit the difference speaks volumes.

Guys posing with AR-15s in the U.S. are manly men.

Someone with a picture taken in uniform while deplyoed in Afghanistan… poser.

I get it.

A, you don’t know where the photos were taken and B, he’s pretending to be something never was and never will be which is a warrior. He was never even issued a rifle.

I’m not sure you followed but ok.

That’s exactly what wannabe NRA warriors are doing pretending the states are a combat zone.

What does that even mean?

The cartoon you are drawing is certainly entertaining.

Playing dress up with an AR-15 and pretending the Unites States is a combat zone = cool

Having a picture in uniform while deployed in an actual combat zone = poser

It’s like the company clerk putting on a flight suit and having someone take a picture of him sitting in a fighter cockpit. He’s in the service, but he’s posing as something he is not. Buttigieg fans don’t want to admit it.

And you know that how?

Yet no one is doing that except for a minuscule minority of nuts. Most of them are playing video games in their mother’s basement and can’t afford a real gun.

You are mistaken and confused.

Yes he was in such great danger he never even earned a combat ribbon.

Don’t worry, you can keep your pictures and keep playing with your guns :+1:

It’s cool.
