I thought that the proper comparison was GW Bush, not these guys. But at least McCain, Kerry and Duckworth discharged a weapon in their respective combat zones.

It’s funny how those on the Right who supposedly know “all about” the military forget that it’s not a personal decision once one is in as to whether one goes to Afghanistan or not…whether one fires a weapon or not once there. They sure think that once one is in, one gets to pick and choose and sit in a cushy sofa somewhere.

Why don’t you ask the guys who actually were deployed to combat over there what they think of Pete’s “volunteer” service?
