Was that vet posing dressed up as Johnny Operator in his cool shades, out of uniform, with his borrowed M4 bragging about his “trips outside the wire”, to present himself as a combat badass when he never even earned a combat ribbon?

It’s so sad to watch over the last 3 years how what used to be Republicans who naturally supported our troops turn into denigrators of our troops…first our POWs, then our Gold Star families, then our generals and admirals, then our troops wounded by a rocket attack launched by Iran, and now an actual vet…one who actually served and is now running for President.

We had a Sp/4 Supply guy when I was in the 82nd. We found an extra set of greens in his locker. Ranger tab, Pathfinder, Recondo school, etc. E6 stripes.

Wore them when he went home to Maryland.

We DXd him.

so, he was dekpyed into a war zone, correct? When that happens, do they issue you a weapon and combat gear?

How else could he have gotten that?

Are you allowed to just go to the armory and borrow a rifle and vest and what not for a photo shoot?

What was his position on his deployment? Are you saying he wasn’t issued the weapon and gear he was wearing?

I really can’t imagine why you guys are making fun of a fellow military man like this. It makes sense only in the worst of lights.
