They have been mailing ballots out to registered voters in Oregon and Utah for a while with nary a problem.

Why will jerseys be a problem.

The primary went off without a hitch.

The ballots were counted a winners were declared.

You are sadly mistaken. NJ had issues like most blue states, especially those who deviated from previous general election protocol regarding mail in requests.

That’s not a hitch, that’s voters not following the rules.

If you follow the rules of voting there was no problems.

You have any concerns with NY with nearly 100,000 faulty ballots ?

It was not a error with the ballots. It was a error on the envelopes that was caught and corrected.
Trump makes the issue of ballot harvesting and stuffing. This would have nothing to do with that.

Imagine the chaos that could ensue by whatever side having lawyers who ultimately attempt to throw out certain ballots because of such type of “printing” errors especially after people vote and turn them in…

Sure. But there is no evidence that it will be a problem. So many folks are treating this mail-in ballot thing as a totally new deal. There have been quite a few states that have been doing this for years. And even those states that have expanded their programs or have new programs seem to have their bases covered. Trump is just trying to make a excuse for loosing this election. He has done it before. And it is all bogus. And just because he says so, his supporters are falling in line with not a hint of evidence that this whole thing is rigged.

Yeah reprint the mistakes and resend them.

Mistakes aren’t fraud, they are mistakes.

There does not need to be evidence to have serious concern.

For example, in NY those 100,000 incorrect ballots were still sent.

How can officials now assure that thousands of them don’t get filled out, sent back in with the potential to get counted as valid votes?

Have you ever been concerned with election results in the past? And if not, why are you now?
Four years ago Trump created doubt so he would have a excuse if he lost (which he expected to do).
Then he created doubt because he couldn’t believe that he lost the popular vote.
He created a commission to find the rampant voter fraud. They failed to do so.
Now he is creating another excuse if he loses. And he does it with no basis in fact. And you have the AG of the USA making false statements to support that narrative. And we are now going to have all of these reports about any little glitch. And the one in NY was just that. A glitch that was discovered and fixed.
So many Trump supporters are believing a consummate liar. Simple as that.
Like I said, before Trump there was never a concern about our election system.

Yes, the Florida result in the 2000 General Election was very concerning.

My biggest concern now is tied to capacity.

I fear that many states that did not already have universal voting in place prior to 2020 are ill equipped to adequately handle anticipated volume of unsolicited mail in ballots.

And States like Michigan refusing to adapt on the fly in changing their laws to commence earlier tabulation and proper counting of ballots before Election Day only makes matters worse.

No, they are changing their laws to accommodate the expected volume BEFORE the election like good governments do.

You are mistaken highroller. Dems in Michigan continue to play games here.

Check out the article you provided.

One single day was enacted to ready ballots but not yet count them.

It also cited how the Michigan Legislature went against The Bipartisan Policy Center, a Washington D.C.-based think tank, who “recommends that clerks have at least seven days to process absentee ballots before Election Day”.

They are beginning the process of counting the ballots to speed up the results. The Republicans did not want the ballots counted before the end of the day, so this was the compromise.
