Has Marco Rubio finally seen the light?

So if the wishes of Rubio are to be achieved… that the market serves the interests of the nation and not the nations serve the interest of the market… how does no government interference achieve this?

You had nothing factual to start with.

Why do you need goverment to be involved other then promote policies that allow maximum cooperation between business owners and workers?

Yep, the deficit has turned into a surplus because of the tax cuts?

Oh, wait… just keep your head in the sand. You must be doing well so the nothing is wrong. ■■■■ the future! You won’t be there anyways…

Lassez faire capitalism has never worked out too well for labor.

Irrelevant.

We’re talking about how Rubio has shown he can translate his words into policies that make those words come true.

“But Dems…” is not an answer to that question.

The thing is I would love to hear policy around this since I do agree with his platitudes.

A lot of people go to WalMart because that’s all they can afford.

So how would “promoting the idea of buying American” change this calculus?

Rubio is kind of a weasel. Not Ted Cruz level weasel but like Lindsay Graham level.

We’ve been promoting: “Buy American” in Michigan for thirty years.

People will not buy american. The allure of foreign goods made by slaves is too great. That’s why you need tariffs and strong trade policies that hurt the consumer. It’s not fair, it’s life.

I made no such statement.

See the massive pork filled budget passed just before the election in 2016.

No agreement could be reached on a reasonable budget so they threw everything both parties wanted in it along with not just the kitchen sink, but the whole kitchen and then the whole house.

Then read up on baseline budgeting.

Then look at how willing the dem’s have been to cut anything on a bipartisan basis actually compromising since.

Then get back with us.

By increasing the number of jobs in manufacturing and higher wages and better benefits that would result.

Why is that? Is that what Sam Walton preached? Now…which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Hmm…why is that indeed?

You think that wasn’t happening because Americans buy at WalMart?

Interesting…this philosophy that things can only get better if the working class sacrifices first…

If you cut taxes, it’s your responsibility to cut spending not the other party’s.

Absolute nonsense.

Who’s ‘best interest’ does that serve?

Agreed.

And we have heard the policies loud and clear lately.

Vote Sander or Warren if you really care about american workers.

" Has Marco Rubio finally seen the light? "

Depends. How much did he get paid?
