Yes, we’ve established that, but thank you for your invaluable and contemporaneous confirmation.

Brutal images from a new unconfirmed killing by police in Australia.

The delta variant effectively destroyed everything. I don’t personally blame Australia, Singapore, China, and New Zealand’s zero tolerance approach for keeping the initial covid 19 virus out. But when it festered for months and mutated in India into a 100x more transmissible disease it was game over unless they allowed no travelers in our out.

For whatever reason some countries did a great job on creating vaccines but dropped the ball on therapeutics and better testing methods.

Yes, killing a man by busting open his skull on the concrete will prevent him from infecting people with COVID. 100% effective.

Or did you miss the video?

Obviously I am not condoning that. I am referring to the countries who tried to keep the virus out of their country when it first emerged, not the way the government bashed heads. New Zealand still has zero travel to their country until 2022. The delta variant ended all of that and the idea of keeping it out or isolating it once it’s in the country.

These countries have the distinct advantage of being on and island. Again not condoning police violence just initially trying to keep it out.

The US has adopted the policy of spreading the latest variants around the country as fast as possible shipping infected people illegal immigrants all over the country.

Meanwhile legal visitors are required to show proof of vaccination and a negative COVID test. It makes no sense.

On the other hand, the zero-COVID policy in New Zealand appears to be failing. The number of cases is spiking upwards.

The new variants are highly contagious. The travel restrictions may simply delay the outbreak.

Probably dared to leave his home for a loaf of bread.

Of course in perspective, even 150 - 160 cases per day in a country of 5 million is next to nothing, but you are right, they are simply delaying the inevitable. This virus is not going to go away. It will be with us indefinitely and it will undoubtedly mutate many more times. The best we can do is vaccinate as many people who are willing to be vaccinated to minimize serious illnesses and deaths, adjust the vaccine as necessary to be effective with mutations, and wait for everyone to be exposed so there is nobody left to protect. That will probably take a decade or so.

That was tough to watch. Completely debased and out of control government.

All of the mitigation sans vaccine does this.

Even the vaccine is having some difficulty.

Almost as though this virus was designed to propagate in a lab.

Yes, I have yet to see any news reports beyond the brutal video in the tweet.

The video could be a fake, or it could be that the Australian government is censoring the news in the name of preventing protests that could spread COVID. Australian police have demonstrated similar unprovoked brutality before.

Any confirmation that the image is actually Australia? Or are we just taking an unknown twitter users word?

The Uniform appears to match Canadian RCMP.

  • Patch
  • Vest style
  • Yellow stripe
  • Yellow stripe on pants with cargo pocket

Libs are just fine with these “aNtI-vAxXeRs!” getting hurt. Their own posts make it crystal clear that they want normal people to get hurt/sick/evicted/shunned/dehumanized for not conforming to Daddy Gov’s whims.

Meanwhile, they’ll burn down their own neighborhood when a rapist in the commission of a crime gets shot reaching for a knife.

Yes, it is possible that the video is real but is not from Australia. Also it may have happened many months ago and just surfaced now.

To me the accent of the voice in the background sounds more Australian than Canadian. The images of the vehicles are not clear about which is the steering wheels will are on, but a more sophisticated analysis may show that detail.

If it is from Canada it is even more disturbing in some respects. It means that extreme police brutality is not limited to a couple of states in Australia.

Appreciate the sleuthing.

I would like to know the rest of the story.

Agree 100%.

A 41 second video of unknown origin, location, date and what led up to the incident or what the outcomes of the incident were…

Is just click bait.

Yes, there are plenty of well-documented videos showing the brutality of Australia police.

This one may just be the newest.
