Really?
Who cared what this person wrote until the conressional hearing?
I think you just put a pin in the problem.
The people hiring someone to be a prestigious university president SHOULD care about the candidates published history and ethics. If they got excited and skipped their due diligenceā¦.why?

I would be shocked if they did.
I think this kind of thin examples of plagerism (which as I detail above, IMO, arenāt all plagerism and those that might be are pretty tame) didnāt surface until people started hating on her for her answers in front of congress.
Itās unrealistic to think a search committee is going to do a plagerism search on every peice a candidate writes.
This brings up a question - how did these examples come to light? Who took the time to track them down?
I think I will see if āGatticaā is on Netflix. Sounds like a good one. I like good sci-Fi.
Yep. The more minority of a candidate, the more appealing.
What were the genders of all the university presidents who testified?

I think it is like lots of things (eg being a supreme court nominee, being a presidential candidate etcā¦)
When she was just a lame-o propagandist masquerading as a college professor she could get away with a lot of garbage . . . but once she molly-coddled terrorism, mass rape, genocide an cutting-off breasts and tossing them around the room like a party game while the victim is being sodomized and stabbed every time she flinches etc. she put herself under a microscope.

If she was white, she probably would not have been in that job.
See? Two can play this game.

Statistically that is absurd.
Do you know what percentage of Harvard Presidents were white?

They should have known more than we know.
And based on whatās been presented so far itās completely ā ā ā ā ā ā that she was hired. Students get expelled for significantly better and less obvious plagiarism.
If you look at those examples carefully, not all of them are plagiarism.
It doesnāt matter to me - I think she should have been fired for her testimony on capital hill.
But there is a bit of piling on here.
If Justice is not served when the person legitimately should have been punished for cause, piling on can be the only way to achieve it.

Typical for you to lie.
Here are some that didnāt get much attention:
Everything Donald Trump Has Plagiarized
This is my favorite:
Ben Carsonās Opinions
In March 2016, Trump published an op-ed in the Pacific News Daily, a Guam newspaper. But the text of the article appeared to borrow heavily from an op-ed Trumpās one-time rival Ben Carson had published in February. The op-eds are nearly identical in structure, with some sentences in Trumpās article appearing almost exactly as they appeared in Carsonās.
If you are going to try justifying Gayās plagiarism by pointing at Trump, you are opening the door on Biden. I donāt think you really want to do that.

Of course it is⦠how else are they that over represented?
Then you look at the number of them that have been fired⦠they were clearly unqualified if they were fired. That is what happens when they get hired based on their race and sex.
You apply this over representation standard to every other industry ? i.e. IT, sports, medicine, etc⦠?

The first highlighted phrase, in my experience, would not be considered plagerism.
This is a statement of common fact. There is no research or original thought being pirated. It is simply stating a fact.
You are right ⦠she easily could have restated that in her own words. As @LucyLou said, she was lazy.
Another good reason to not hire someone.
