States can assist in this with agreement of the President. Trump would permit this and my state would definitely assist. Massachusetts can make their own decision when about a million show up.

Biden tasked Harris with overseeing diplomatic efforts in Central America in March 2021. While Harris focused on long-term fixes, the Department of Homeland Security remained responsible for overseeing border security.
Harris has only occasionally talked about her efforts as the situation along the US-Mexico border became a political vulnerability for Biden. But she put her own stamp on the administrationâs efforts, engaging the private sector.
Harris pulled together the Partnership for Central America, which has acted as a liaison between companies and the US government. Her team and the partnership are closely coordinating on initiatives that have led to job creation in the region. Harris has also engaged directly with foreign leaders in the region.
Experts credit Harrisâ ability to secure private-sector investments as her most visible action in the region to date but have cautioned about the long-term durability of those investments.
We go to the root causes in other countries as to why people come here. There are eight billion people on earth and we canât fix their root causes. We can secure our border.
The new asylum ban allows authorities to quickly deport or send back to Mexico migrants who cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally without the chance to claim asylum.
The ban took effect on Wednesday and remains in place because it is triggered when migrant arrests surpass 2,500 per day for a week. Daily average arrests per month have been above that level since January 2021, the month Biden took office.
Reinstituting some of Trumpâs policies that were removed by the Biden/Harris administration isnât going to do it. Nobody believes they wouldnât be back to their old disastrous policies as soon as the election is over.
And what about the lie that there was nothing they could do without a new law?
I would particularly welcome a return to the Trump policy of developing America mineral resources. And with the advent of the Chevron ruling in June, that should not only be much more readily accomplished by the Administration, but the normal and inevitable Regulatory Agency obstruction should also be greatly curbed. The era of government policy by Agency bureaucrats is over.
On the other side of the coin, Harris would be an absolute disaster (worse even than Biden) for the resource development sector. We would probably end up with millions of acres of land forever closed to develop for anything except tourism.
If all these people are supposed to be some great benefit to the economy (@DisturbedGuy, @biggestal99, @Jezcoe, @Guilds, @LucyLou, etc.) why do Dem sanctuary cities want nothing more than to get rid of them:
