The base didn’t want the bill. That is whom Republicans were hearing from after the contents of the bill were released. It didn’t take any week to scan the bill and see that it left the border open. And the final arbiter of any disputes was to be the far left DC district with no appeal to the Supreme Court. If some Republicans really wanted the bill, they should come forward…and be primaried next time around.

No one is saying the border issues do not need addressed…Pubs .constantly claiming the border is “open” is stupid and using the issue for political reasons. It probably encourages desperate people to come, and manipulative human smugglers to convince desperate people to pay them.
