And ultimately, that’s the entire point of this conversation.
When someone says something nonsensical like …
I’m glad society has moved past this antiquated way of thinking about fathers. And that extends to male homosexual couples that have children. Whether through adoption or surrogacy, they are still fathers. That’s the point. Being straight or gay has nothing to do with being a father. It’s about responsibility and love.

Wait, you’re not supposed to be proud of being a lush?
Well, that just screwed my day.

I love it. They love to flip out about baby mamas and the kids not getting married, but when you point out that they have kids to two or three different women and are only barely involved in the lives of some if not all of the kids, they get really upset.
Gay couples can have children and grow their families in the exact same ways hetero couples can have children when one or both of them are unable to physically have children.
This isn’t difficult and it doesn’t need to be juvenile.

Also, gay people can and do have babies the old fashioned natural way. They just may not like it very much.
Which actually probably isn’t all that different than heteros.

Gay people don’t tend to have children of their own - they tend to have someone else’s in their possession.
