Happy 4th of July libs

Because he worked harder for it.

Trump said himself that Elon Musk gets more money from the government than anyone else.
Normal Americans who need assistance for whatever reason and maybe some form of health care are deadbeats and shouldn’t get government money but the richest man in the world does.
Please explain.

Person A sitting on his fat ass on desk all day programing computers while Person B is outside in the elements beating his body up 10 hours a day framing houses…tell me who deserves it more?

Don’t worry this bill will remove person b from the country and give tax breaks to person a, who sits at a desk and obviously a billionaire.

It basically kills off green energy and funds 100,000 ice agents to do whatever they want.
You didn’t know what you are paying for?

That’s ridiculous. You only know your side of the equation.

Don’t blame the employer. I’m sure you can point to exceptions, but overtime is usually part of the plan, due to unforeseen circumstances, or due to a lack of qualified help. In outdoor construction, it’s entirely because good weather is seasonal making time precious.

No he didn’t. The math says he works fewer hours to make the same income. Fewer hours is less work.

The Bill is 940 pages long. I’m pretty sure it says more than that.

An honest day’s work is an honest day’s work.
I used to work a more manual job, where I would be tired at the end of my shift… I now work behind a computer and go see customers and talk…

It is much easier to leave work at work when the job is more physical then mental. At least for me.

Not when you’re running a crew.

My analogy was being part of the crew…not runing the crew. I have done both types of jobs.

Person B chose his job. He chose to be outside in the elements. If it is so much harder… they should get paid more to work normal hours. :man_shrugging:t5:

You are right. Outdoor jobs doing manual labor are much easier on your mind, and almost never are damaging to your body unless you do something stupid. In fact, the physical exercise is good for you. On the other hand, office jobs are often very stressful and the individuals have to spend time at the gym to unwind and get their exercise. And having done both during my career, I can tell you with complete assurance that a ten-hour day doing skilled labor goes by very quickly compared to an eight-hour day in the office.

True. I knew several construction job supers with ulcers. But on the other hand, they were salaried, not per hour employees. They got maybe got a bonus if they did a good job, not overtime pay. And the usually put in many more hours than the work crew.

Nonsense.

And people aren’t mathematical equations.

Utter nonsense.

Even a child knows that working fewer hours is easier than working more hours. Why don’t you?
