Happy 100th Birthday Jimmy Carter.
While opinions may vary on the 4 years you spent in the Presidency, the remaining 78 of 82 years of your adult life present as well lived and productive a life as any person in this country’s history. From your accomplishments in the submarine service to your lifelong philanthropy and giving.
Thank you and congratulations on making it to this milestone and being the first President to make it to this milestone.
He definitely takes the cake as the best ex-president our country has ever had. He more than made up for his questionable four years in my opinion.

I was no fan of Carter when he was president, but he is arguably the most honest man to occupy the office in many decades.
Carter conducted a massive reduction in force in the CIA’s clandestine operations. He even successfully prosecuted Mark Felt (aka “deep throat”), the head of the FBI’s COINTELPRO for violations of civil rights. In retrospect, that took a lot of courage.
Glad he made a 100 I was really hoping he would.
