Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell confirmed Tuesday the Impeachment trial of President Trump will likely begin within the next seven days.
“Our understanding is the House is likely to send the Articles over to us tomorrow… If that happens we’ll go through some steps here this week,” said McConnell. “Which would set us up to begin the actual trial next Tuesday. That’s the week ahead.”
