4:05 PM ET - Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House and author of the upcoming book, Trump’s America, reacts to more fake news as the MSM outlets report that President Trump has called illegal immigrants animals. He said nothing of the sort, he in fact referred to the gang MS-13, which is killing our children via their expeditious importing of drugs, not to mention the violence and havoc they now reach on America’s streets. Should we expect an apology from the MSM?
4:30 PM ET - Congressman Dana Rohrabacher, of California, is one of the few people out there who has been supporting President Trump’s agenda on immigration and border control from the beginning. His state has been gravely affected by Sanctuary cities and funding which helps non-citizens.
California’s government, led by Gov. Jerry Brown and Atty. Gen. Xavier Becerra, has done nothing helpful to resolve the threat posed by illegal immigration. They have made it more difficult to confront the challenge with their blatant efforts to politicize law enforcement.
The state’s Democrat leaders have placed California’s employers in a horrendous situation, mandating that they not voluntarily cooperate with federal immigration officers. They thereby undermine, or at least make it more difficult, to enforce the law and secure our borders. Jeff Sessions is right to try to rectify this reprehensible mandate.
5:05 PM ET - Jonathan Gilliam, author of the newly released book, Sheep No More, and Danielle McLaughlin, an Attorney & Constitutional Expert who co-wrote The Federalist Society: How Conservatives took the Law Back from Liberals, today they hit just about the funniest quote of late. CNN’s Jim Acosta’s told late night liberal loon Jimmy Kimmel that his treatment of Trump’s administration is exactly the same way he addressed Obama’s administration. Seriously?
“Listen, when I covered Barack Obama, I was just as tough on him,” Acosta told Kimmel. “People might not want to believe that.”
“They didn’t like you either,” Kimmel replied. “You’re universally disliked everywhere you go.”
Acosta recalled that the Obama White House was “very ticked off” when he asked the then-president about ISIS and why they couldn’t “get these bastards” but that they eventually “got over it” because they know the press has to “ask the hard questions.” (H/T Mediaite)
