4:05 PM ET – House Freedom Caucus Members, Rep. Jody Hice of Virginia and Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas are here to discuss the border wall and what the House Freedom Caucus is presenting as a solution for the President. Hice and Gohmert will also discuss the IG report and what this means for the ongoing Mueller investigation.

4:30 PM ET – Gregg Jarrett Fox News Legal Analyst and author of the Russia Hoax, and David Schoen, Civil Liberties Attorney, are here to discuss the news this morning that the Judge in the Michael Flynn case is making demands on Robert Mueller. A deadline has been set for Mueller to turn over documents regarding the questioning of the National Security Adviser, General Michael Flynn, by 3:15 tomorrow. They too will review the IG report.

One day after former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s legal team made the bombshell allegation that the FBI had pushed him not to bring a lawyer to his fateful Jan. 24, 2017 interview with agents at the White House, the federal judge overseeing Flynn’s criminal case is demanding answers from Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan ordered Mueller late Wednesday to turn over all of the government’s documents and “memoranda” related to Flynn’s questioning. The extraordinary demand puts Mueller under the microscope and sets a 3:00 PM ET Friday deadline for the special counsel’s office to produce the sensitive FBI documents.

Sullivan — who overturned the 2008 conviction of former U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens after government misconduct came to light — is weighing how to sentence Flynn, who pleaded guilty to one count of lying to federal authorities during the 2017 interview in the West Wing. Flynn faced mounting legal bills that forced him to sell his home amid the prosecution, and Mueller has already recommended he receive no prison time.

The judge’s brief order states that Mueller can choose to file the materials under seal if necessary. (H/T Fox News)

5:05 PM ET – Jonathan Gilliam, Former FBI Agent, Federal Air Marshall, and author of Sheep No More and Geraldo Rivera, Fox News Legal Analyst and author of The Geraldo Show, debate and discuss the Chuck and Nancy performance that we saw at the White House this past week.

Repeatedly, Pelosi and Schumer wanted to move things behind the scenes.

“Let’s debate in private,” Schumer said.

“I don’t think we should have a debate in front of the press on this,” Pelosi complained. Another time she lamented, “This is a most unfortunate thing. We came in here in good faith and we’re entering this kind of discussion in the public view.”

But Trump was clearly perfectly happy to let the press witness the confrontation.

Whatever one may say about Trump and his lack of civility and coarse tone, there is a positive side to dispensing with certain political niceties. (H/T Washington Examiner)

5:30 PM ET – James O’Keefe, Founder of Project Veritas, hasn’t slowed down since the election and will be bringing us more breaking news and undercover stories in 2019. Today he has a special message for the audience.

Despite the controversy, the group’s videos this cycle could hurt Democrats running in some of the nation’s closest watched races, those that could decide which party controls Congress.

Those known to have been targeted by the group in this election cycle include: Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, North Dakota Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, Tennessee Senate candidate Phil Bredesen, Arizona Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and House candidate Abigail Spanberger.

The aim, O’Keefe says, is to expose the beliefs of progressives who are running in mostly red states, those won by President Donald Trump in 2016. He says his stings have uncovered Democratic candidates being untruthful to woo moderates in their state.

He says he doesn’t need to be liked by the elite and calls his videos the “purest form of journalism” because there is no spin or opinion, rather just the words of their targets. (H/T USA Today)
