I’m sorry to tell you that you are going to have to finally accept a couple of facts about most Democrats. 1- they will always excuse the behavior of fellow Democrats. 2- they will always go after opponents like a lynch mob no matter what the facts are.
A famous saying of the KGB is, “Give me the man and I’ll give you the crime.” and this is the same approach the Democrats are using to try to gain control. We are really now living in a frightening time.
