To bring your Avatar from the old site…

Go to old site…

Find your Avatar…
Right click it
Click “Save Image As”
Give it a name and save it to your desktop

On the new site…

Click the round picture or letter in the top right corner
Click the gear (it’s kinda small)
Scroll down to the “Profile Picture” section
Click the pencil below it
Click “Upload Picture”
Find it on your desktop
etc, etc

These instructions are for a Windows computer.

You got the fact that you can use BBCode on text. The code is (u)underline(/U) but using brackets “” instead of parenthesis.

You don’t have to post the link to pictures.

Find the picture you want
Right click to open the context menu
“Copy Image”
Go to your post
“Paste”

Someone can check me on this but I THINK it posts a local copy of the image instead of “hot linking” to the picture. (Which, in a rare case, “hot linking” could cause a problem if the source site changes the image but keeps the same link.)

i always try to use dark themes, they are easier for the eyes…

The dark theme is as startling as the default. It would be nice to have a compromise between the two.
