In the Soviet Union, the front page was pure propaganda. Actual news rarely appeared in newspapers, and when it did it was buried far from the front page. The same sort of thing goes on now in western media where headlines at the top of the page say one thing and buried text says another.

You are missing the point! The Rouble is worth more now than before the sanctions and the war, the efforts to squelch them financially has failed! The price comparison from Euro to dollar is irrelevant the Rouble has out performed expectations for two years now. The dollar has done opposite.
Why say thing that are easily disprovable? It is worth less than before the way. By a not insignificant margin. It was temporarily stabilized.
