It would be a very interesting study. Say minimum wage went up 10%… what the actual price increase to the final consumer would be, after all the utilities, producers, distributors, shippers, and the final sales location all adjusted.

As an employer does it cost me a dollar to pay you a dollar more? Or more or less than a dollar?

Yes it would.

According to this study, 10% in min wage leads to a 0.36% price increase

I have not analyzed the study

This is so cool…Biden picked Alejandro Mayorkas to head DHS…libs all support putting kids back in cages.

Nice job libs.

He was Architect of it.

I’ll read it later tonight. That sounds waay low to me. Definitely interested in seeing what they have to say.

I was looking at that. California boy. I wonder who that is a concession to.

Wouldn’t part of the increase be dependent on the product being manufactured?

I don’t. Nice broadbrush.

yes. I read some of it. It is def a working paper.
They were actually looking and one time big Min Wage increases vs slow gradual min wage increases. They were focused on Fast Food.

So def not a comprehensive study, but a good working paper on one aspect.

I know I’m excited
Climate Groups Prod Biden to Bolster Kerry by Declaring Crisis (msn.com)
Uhh, no thanks, the 'Rona “crisis” has done enough damage turning the 2020 general election into a heaping pile of steaming ■■■■■ thank you very much. But the libs will leverage a “climate crisis” to achieve their “progressive” economic shipwreck goals

As people here like to say, “Elections have consequences.” The majority of Americans voted to see climate change concerns addressed.

And Trump set the precedent that declaring national emergencies to achieve political goals is perfectly acceptable.

34 million of J’Biden’s voters didn’t give a ■■■■ about the climate, they voted against the Prez because for four years CNN, the rest of the media propagandists and Whoopie told them “orange Man racist, he Baaaad”. And that’s not counting the ones that live in cemeteries.

All the whinging and whining about transition was for nothing?

Libs whine, it’s the substance of their miserable existence.

And many chose Trump over Clinton for 30 years of CEC.

How was it for nothing? It was a ridiculous delay that shouldn’t have happened and slowed down the normal process of getting vital information to the incoming administration so they can be ready to tackle a variety of complex and serious issues.
