I showed you exactly the source…and when it was stated. Your opinion though is yes, it walks like a duck…yes…it quacks like a duck…but it’s not a duck. You quack me up. :sunglasses:

It not my opinion that the federal government owns 58%.of the forest in California, its a fact. A fact that you utterly failed to dispute in any way.

That isn’t the discussion but…play stupid.

Prove it wrong if you can. We both know you can’t

Protip: you didn’t link to anything. Nobody can see what is on your screen

I couldn’t use Google because they’re purging the truth. I went to another site and here.

:man_facepalming:
Nothing in that article disputes that California is in charge of less than 10% of the state’s forests

We talked about active forest management for a long time, but you know, talking’s over,” Zinke said. “It’s now time to act.”

Was Zinke a federal or state official?

My take on all of this.

MTG is a symptom of a diseased political system. Gerrymandering made it possible to win this seat by winning the primary over a fairly qualified but bland neurosurgeon. Mostly due to the fact that she sought and got Trump’s endorsement.

Fever dreams are not isolated on the Right, though. Precedent was set by the Bernie Bros, who later, in decent numbers, embraced Qanon. It is the sense of entitlement mixed with daffy conspiracy theories to rationalize a world that just doesn’t want what you are selling on a normal day.

Qanon took the Bernie Bro movement to the next step, full on fever dream.

It is difficult to tell who started it, who is feeding it now or where it will head but ostensibly the benefit has always been for Trump, and if you know anything about Trump he is a guy who only likes people who support him. And he will never bag on them.

Qanon is not a cult, cults are small. Qanon is a movement and MTG is a disciple. Like most disciples she found an outlet where she could prosper and be heard. And like most disciples, she probably doesn’t believe a damn word that is coming out of her mouth.

Now she doesn’t need Qanon, but how do you reverse what you said? She denounced it today and I honestly believe her when she said she doesn’t believe that nonsense anymore. I just think she never did.

She is just a nasty, opportunistic and shallow human being.

Perfect for Washington DC.

If the GOP were smart they would cut bait and boot her, she is too addicted to the oxygen of attention to quit throwing molotovs now, but they won’t because they fear her patron. This is going to be a drag on the party and will hurt them in the midterms.

Folks here mention AOC a lot, and for good reason. She is also a firebrand and also soaked up a lot of attention. And in the last election she was brandished across this nation as being emblematic of a typical Democrat. Don’t imagine for a second the Dems won’t do the same exact thing in 2022 with MTG.

Right now Greene’s approval is close to 40 points higher than Liz Cheney’s with Republicans.

So Greene is more in step with rank and file Republicans.

Good even-handed post.

How did gerrymandering get her the win?

The GOP wants QAnon. That’s why this is happening people.

It is not being sheoplized. How many documents do you want linked that say the same thing.
You think that this is not a fact? It’s pretty easy to check.

Yeah it seems that way. Still working my way through this but here’s an interesting so far analysis:

They reached the threshold of 218 votes to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene’s committee assignments. SHE HAS BEEN NEUTRALIZED.

So far, 11 Republicans have voted to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene’s committee assignments.

I read that early today. That whole thing is, whew.

More then I thought there would be. I am waiting to see the list.

It’s 2021 and a Republican in Congress has to assert that 9-11 actually happened as part of a non apology. Going great.

Is that as bad as the video of her rubbing the crotch of a Trump cutout though.

Now I’ll preserve it.

You are misusing an important word.

That is not at all what is happening here.

Institutions have standards. That’s not fascism.
