Just days after bizarrely suggesting Republicans used a Constitutional Amendment to prevent the re-election of Franklin Roosevelt -who died in office in 1945- Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is now using the price of breakfast at a New York City airport to promote a $15 minimum wage.

“Croissants at LaGuardia are going for SEVEN DOLLARS A PIECE,” posted the Democratic-Socialist on social media. “Yet some people think getting a whole hour of personal, dedicated human labor for $15 is too expensive??”

Ocasio-Cortez faced a fierce backlash last week after her ‘Green New Deal’ failed to secure a single “Yes” vote in the US Senate; with virtually all Democrats voting “present” and refusing to publicly endorse the massive federal program.
