My comment was directed at @altair1013’s quote of Walensky. Not Altair. I should have made that clearer. I was actually agreeing with Altair.

Walensky has said some fairly off beat things in the last week.

They have just announced that vaccinated people cannot spread Covid! So it is now official. If you have been vaccinated, the mask you wear is just for show. Simply to please your rulers.

Not to brag, but Altair was correct about this all this time. As usual.

Then we wear them forever, the coronavirus isn’t going away at best years to decades down the road it becomes less lethal. This is what viruses do mutate and we don’t have a good track record of eradicating them. I have only seen one person aggravated about wearing a mask in a private business but once vaccinated I am not going to go around like the Japanese the rest of my life, but will wear it in a private business if required.

That’s what I’ve been doing the entire time. When else do you wear a mask?

Wife, the same. I’ve never had the flu, so I don’t get the significance, but they literally had zero flu cases in a practice with a hundred people on the floor, and everyone wants to keep that up.

I don’t think have I ever had the flu either, but maybe it’s because I have been taking the vaccine for 10 years, I do know that as a teacher, I have had 2-3 bad colds , coughs, sore throats each year. Kids come to school sick. Also, I often have an illness after flying. I’d like to vaoid that, and now I know how.

Are you on blood thinners or anything? The relatively quick changes in atmospheric pressure can cause some kind of leakage in capillaries or something, resulting in general malaise. My uncle can’t fly anymore because of that.

It’s like they don’t want to abide by the strict measures put in place in their own state or something.

I cannot say and up to this point I’ve not judged.

However, given the thought process of the left on this board I may start doing so.

I really don’t want Florida turning blue. If I can deny you entrance based on COVID vaccination, I should be able to deny you entrance based on political affiliation.

I’m a private business. My business is mine to grow or ruin.

No- it’s always upper-respiratory. I think it’s a combo of close quarters and dry air.
