Sen. Lindsey Graham unloaded on the House Impeachment Managers’ proposals this week; saying the Democrats are essentially trying to “destroy the institution of the presidency as we know it.”
“Some observations: It was a long day. I’ve been involved in two impeachment trials, I just want to say what the House Managers were proposing yesterday was basically to destroy the institution of the presidency as we know it,” said Sen. Graham.
“When it comes to Donald Trump, they are willing to destroy the institution of the office in the name of getting him. The Clinton impeachment was conducted by outside counsel, there’s none here,” he added.
