GOWDY ON WHISTLEBLOWER: You Can’t Use ‘Anonymous Sources’ in the Courtroom

Former Congressman Trey Gowdy stopped by ‘Hannity’ Monday night to weigh-in on the media’s latest attack on President Trump; saying he could never use “anonymous sources in a courtroom.”

“Congressman, walk me through this,” said Hannity, referring to the Democrats’ recent obsession with Trump’s private phone call with the President of Ukraine.

“No offense to reporters, but I couldn’t use anonymous sources in a courtroom, every witness I called was cross-examined. The reporters do whatever it is they do; I need to eyeball the witness and judge their credibility,” said Gowdy.

“If you’re going to investigate one fact pattern, you have to investigate a nearly identical fact pattern. What they don’t like is the duplicity of always looking at Republicans but having the tendency to ignore [Democrats],” he added.
