Government Workers chant "Lock Him Up" meaning Trump

Government workers (the swamp) is pissed at Trump, a hiring freeze is shrinking their ranks at a rapid pace. They aren’t replacing workers to leave, and its wonderful. New rules require they actually show up and work or they do get fired, eventually.

I love it.

At the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) #RedforFeds rally in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, union members began chanting ‘lock him up,” referring to President Donald Trump.

The AFGE is the largest federal employee union, representing 700,000 federal and D.C. government workers.

Good for them!

Good to know Fat Donald hasn’t yet outlawed anti government rallies.

“Lock him up…lock him up”…that is funny!

I am thinking that is far more likely to happen than “crooked” Hillary getting locked up.

Yeah. Trump is “draining the swamp”…“eventually”.

He’s filling it faster than he’s draining it.

That is true. So very true.

Fake News!!! Everyone loves Donald, and union workers across our great nation are disbanding at a rapid pace to clear the way for more de-regulation and improved working conditions in New Trumpistan. Don’t believe the lies of liberal media - our Dear President’s popularity is skyrocketing every day, and the haters have dwindled to a weak, inconsequential fringe. All hail Donald!

Guess you don’t know the Trump federal hiring freeze ended?

Or that Federal Employee ranks have actually edged back up some under Trump and that there are plans afoot to hire slightly more Federal Employees under Trump’s budget(s)?

Or that the ranks of Federal Employees have been dropping fairly consistently over the last 30 years under both Republican and Democratic administrations, even under President Obama after the initial uptick with the recession recovery actions he took the numbers then went down.

Now don’t get me wrong. I spent quite a few years working in facilities some that did government defense department work and some that were part of the park service. Plus my spouse was a DoD employee for many years. Lord knows I got to see the good the bad and the just plain ugly. There needs to be more progressive and smarter steps taken to reducing Federal Employee roles than just blanket hiring freezes. I certainly have no issue with stricter workplace enforcement of rules, job performance, and making it easier to remove deadwood.

Further I am all for eliminating agencies and programs that are being perpetuated without true justification or need.

Congress needs to get off their asses and not be afraid to say “no” to keeping them alive.

All Hail Donald! All Hail Donald! :us: :us: :us:

Who’s the Leader of our Land that’s made for you and me?
D-O-N-A-L-D, T-R-U-M-P!
Hey there! Hi there! Ho there!
He’s as bigly as can be!
D-O-N-A-L-D, T-R-U-M-P!

No, didn’t know that. Congress forces the money be spent, they hold power of the purse. I have hopes Government one day will stop duplication of work and shed some agencies. Ron Paul wanted to cut the Budget by a Trillion, slash the size of Government radically. I liked that idea.

But the swamp is powerful, and congress is in its pocket.

Yes. The “swamp” is powerful, and Congress is in its pocket.

What the American Electorate fails to realize is that they (we) are far more powerful.

Every two years “we the people” despite any money spent by the K Street lobbies, despite any corporate “bundling”, despite Citizens United, despite all of that “we the people” every two years get to decide the fate of all 435 House members and 1/3 rd of the Senate members.

We the people can fire all of the incumbents that are running for reelection.

We the people could give them an ultimatum to behave or begone.

But every two years, once more, we will see a 90% or higher reelection rate for incumbents who are running for reelection.

Then in a few weeks after the election we will see Polls with Congress getting an approval rate of maybe 12%.

We the people have the power, but we the people have no clue how to wield it.

“But there’s a new day coming, my friends. When we win back the majority this November, we’re going to have hearings, alright?” Connolly said. “And we’re going to call to account members of the Trump administration, and haul their asses before our committee.”

Other speakers at the #RedforFeds rally included House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

They sound like such a civil group and I’m shocked they don’t like Trump. Shocked I tell you.
