Government Funding, the Economy & wealth Gap

The outright worship of government by domesticated libs is reaching Kiwi Level.

We can choose to redistribute wealth to the morbidly rich, or use that wealth to help more people with various social safety net programs, and ways for everyday people to gain more skills or education to be able to earn better living.

No one should have to file bankruptcy for getting sick or injured. Sadly, that is far too common in the USA.

Greedy doctors and nurses.

So again, it goes back to equity. The health of the nation is secondary, as long as CEOs don’t make more than LIBs believe they should.

Why doesn’t that surprise me?

We eventually enacted the Sherman act, and broke up his monopolies…as the government did allow that to happen prior to that law. Sadly, that law that is still on the books, is rarely enforced today.

What insurance company will insure a new nuclear power plant?

You can’t simply make those kinds of statements, without linking to studies that can be reviewed for underlying assumptions.

They really aren’t.

Here is a thought. How about the Government doesn’t redistribute wealth at all. It isn’t their job.

The same consortium that insures our current 57 nuclear power plants.

Government overregulation is the problem, not lack of insurance.

We do not have massive illegal immigration. The lack of well paid jobs for the working class were mainly outsourced to other countries. In the trades, a union white man and union brown man makes the same wage. If you are talking about the underground economy, or where corps knowingly hire illegal workers, that can be addressed, but pols are not willing to go there. That may cost them donations from the same corps.

No, he gave his opinion…not facts. Just as you did.

Greedy insurance companies that provide zero healthcare.

of course that is the opinion of the small government people.

for the me and my ilk, big government is good.

right now the SG has the upper hand. but once people find out how truly bad it will become, the tide will reverse and BG will again control the Government.

How much wealth is enough? History shows when a small group of people have the majority of the wealth, it is a recipe for discord, instability and an eventual revolution of some kind.

There should be some kind of cap on wealth. No one needs more than 1000 millions of dollars. Hell, half a billion is even too much. This can be capped through taxation.

We used to do that…and the economy did quite well, and many got very rich. Just not morbidly rich.

A great many libs vote for liberal politicians hoping they will redistribute our money to themselves.

Take money from the working class (taxes) and distribute it to the nonworking class.

Working harder, smarter, and getting more education to close their own wealth gap they don’t seem to care for.

Both are from Wiki. Which references where the numbers come from.

He is not making statements, he just copies and pastes.

I disagree. Whoever sets the rules of commerce, redistributes the wealth. Should we have industry do that? Or the people? (it would be better if the people who do that, cannot be bribed by industry)

Telemedicine…AI…There isn’t going to be much no matter who runs it.

Sure would hate for the Mangione’s of the world to target government bureaucrats instead of CEOs.

It isn’t going to change.

People need to stay fit and pray.
