Government Funding, the Economy & wealth Gap

No it wasn’t. And now they are marrying, taking half of everything the guy owns and keeping the child support for themselves.

You are full of beans/propaganda as usual.

A good work ethic is required to advance into the upper half no matter one’s education level (loved your assumption i was only talking about high school grads).

That will never be no longer a reality.

As for your incredible claim that people on the dole do not happen in a large scale :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: millions are on the dole.

False claims are always false no matter how often a lib repeats it.

The poverty line for a family of 2 is $22,000.

That’s $11 an hour, if just one is working.

You would have to provide some concrete evidence that the CEO is actually the one that is “turning businesses around”, and that compensation really is what makes the difference between a company getting a “good CEO” and a “bad one”.

I have my doubts that executive compensation really works that way.

Why does he have to provide the “evidence”?

Because he made the claim.

He asked a question.

I never said hard a work ethic no longer happens, I am stating the opportunities have reduced due to Manufacturing facilities going to Asia or other places. Also automation and Robotics have also reduced the type of jobs that that many men used to start at a lower level, and work their way up. They certainly still exist, but many require a college degree. And certainly a HS diploma.

As far as being on the dole, are you saying people are gaming the system primarily, or that just too many people are on some sort of public assistance?

Many on the Left talk about the so-called “golden-age” (regarding the middle-class) of the 1960’s. Here’s a question then, what was the size of government and the quantity of social programs during then as it is now?

It was the golden age, for white men. Women could not open a bank account or get a Credit card w/out a male’s signature. The gold old days!

Read back through the entire chain.

His question is based on a claim he made for which he didn’t provide evidence.

Someone was mentioning how if we could take all the money in the world and distribute evenly to everyone, we would all have about $200 dollars!

A corporation’s reason for existence is to make money, not to ensure working folks share in the company’s prosperity. That is a flawed LIB concept.

Not explicitly. But no matter how good the intention, that’s where we end up when someone tries to interfere.

Could you provide some supporting evidence?

Well,that is stupid…who said that?

Upward mobility is still very much available for those seeking to better themselves. LIBs seem to be very pessimistic in that regard and are looking for big government to take from the rich and redistribute the wealth as they see fit. And as history shows, that doesn’t always bode well for the most vulnerable amongst us.

So a Lib concept is to have a system, where the rich can certainly get richer…accumulate more money than they need…and, that those that help them get rich are compensated in a manner they can live a decent life.

Sounds good.

RW rhetorical BS.

I already did, you refuse to accept it. hint: Taxation, lack of collective bargaining, and monopolies.
