Gov. Kristi Noem pressured agency to give her daughter real estate liscense

Makes zero sense. Hard to debate when one side is making up their own

It’s unethical* and you know it.

Your weak argument about “value” has been discarded, so now you resort to this pathetic bottom-of-the-ninth attempt to redefine terms.

It’s quite sad, really

*But fine. It’s influence peddling then

When was my argument about value discarded and by whom? You? Influence peddling is even more off base.

But is that the definition that the report used to determine if this was nepotism? If you use that definition, you would have to prove that Noem’s daughter was not qualified to hold a real estate license or to evaluate house prices. I would want to see their evaluation of her abilities in order to come to that conclusion.
I suspect they went with nepotism being just showing a preference for a relative.

Yeah, I don’t think that was necessarily the definition that was used, either.

Well…the fact that she failed the test three times might be a clue

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it. For you it’s diffeRent

for a real estate liscence? no she didn’t. she already had a real estate liscence. and it was two times for the assessors certificate, not three. what she “got” was a chance to take the assessors test a third time. she still had to take and pass the test.
