GOP: You should work to gain medicaid benefits. Unless you're a white, rural voter

Yes. White men have been oppressed in America since slavery until the present. That’s why they are so proud of Trump, the first white male to achieve that kind of political success in America.

wrong. It’s being addressed by the government attempting to counterbalance what it perceives as inequalities. Its not the same as removing civil rights violations.

You are wrong. White men were the real victims of institutional racism until Trump got elected.

All-white racial monoliths in the relevant institutions were the problem. Diversification is the removal of that problem.

The mere absence of a discriminatory hiring rule does not fix a problem that wasn’t caused by rules in the first place. Since at least as far back as FDRs 8802 executive order, equal employment rules were already in place within the federal government in some form or another. Yet the problem had to be revisited again in the 60s with affrimative action.

you could use some updating. Try a little reading. The threat is not some faceless all-white racial monolith.

If there is to be a work requirement for Medicaid, it should be had by all–black, white, green, any and everything in between.

It’s interesting to note the region white men in the counties being exempt is not in the southern states made fun of on the old Forum, but in Miciigan’s Upper Peninsula. The work requirement is actually equal in two of the southern states, I believe Mississippi and either Arkansas or Alabama.
