Kids were separated under Obama sparingly-it wasnât standard policy. It was when the best interest of the child was considered. Dangerous/criminal parents-situations like that.
Under Trump it became standard policy as a deterrent. Thatâs the difference.
Trump created the problem, them patted himself on the back by ending it, but only after trying to point fingers at everyone else for creating the problem he created.
No no no! Didnât you get the memo. Its the 2nd time in two days weâve been told that something our government does canât be done without the democrats. Apparently itâs not fair that the GOP canât pass legislation despite having enough votes to do it. And oh by the way, the Democrats are supposed to go along with their agenda despite most of it being completely against what they and their voters elected them for.
What efforts has the GOP made to even work with the Dems? Ryan could definitely pass a bipartisan bill if heâd abandon the stupid Hastert rule and work with Dems. But yet you blame the Dems for not going lock step with the opposition party who refuses to even reach out.
Republicans obstructed every piece of legislation Obama and the Dems wanted to see passedâŚthis despite the Dems and Obama realizing they were in the minority and tried to reach out.
And even when the Dems had the majority, they STILL tried to reach out- on the stimulus package (which they compromised on what they wanted and put in tax cuts the GOP wantedâŚand the GOP STILL didnât vote for it) and health care.
Apparently the responsibility to try and get along with the opposition only applies to Democrats.
